Update (long absence)


So I had originally made a personal goal to release Ghostly Labyrinth 2 in July of this year. As you may have noticed, that didn't happen. Instead, I was pretty burnt out from my semester at university and wanted a little break for my mental health. That break turned into a long month, and then I had to turn around and grind through teaching my first summer course over four weeks. It was a grueling experience, as I was teaching everyday and spent almost all of my time planning, prepping, and teaching. That class finally ended, and now I have time to return to this project.

This is probably the last update before launch. I'm not saying that the game is done (far from it), but that this is likely the last time you'll be able to download a GB file of the game. I'll update the web version once the game is finalized, but will remove the downloadable version. I don't really want to get into why, but hopefully soon I'll be able to explain.

Anyways, on to the new updates to this version:

  • New music by the fantastic Max Oakland.
  • New boss battles (the old ones were so broken): new backgrounds, sprites, everything!
  • Other minor bug polishes.

I'm nearing the finish line, and hope to release this game before the end of the year. On to more polishing and bug-fixing!
